Star Student: Show and Tell!

Every week we will have a "Star Student", who gets to share something with the class. It's the student's choice on what they can share, but please help them to make sure it's something that is meaningful to them!

Here are some ideas:

-something that represents a tradition in your family
-a picture of a family pet
-something that represents their favorite hobby
-represents your family heritage

I encourage you to help your student get creative. This is a chance for them to show us all who they are, and for our classroom community to grow. Once a week we will post pictures/video of the student sharing with the class. It's a chance for your student to shine!




Week One: Leila

Leila shared a picture of her with her puppy Aussie! She told us all how her family got Aussie for Christmas, when he was only 2 months old. Leila's favorite thing about Aussie is he plays with her and rolls around on the ground, but she she doesn't like when he accidentally bites her. She loves to give him treats and take him around the block.

Thanks for sharing with us, Leila! She did a great job as our very first Star Student.
